1. Login to the cPanel so that we can upload all of the photos to the server. If you are unsure how to do this, visit the tutorial: "How do I login to the cPanel server?".
2. Proceed to the gallery/albums/uploads folder. You will know that you are in the right place when the screen has the following items at the top (circled in the photo below):
4. Create a new folder. (Remember to not leave spaces between words. Use a hyphen or underscore if you would like to break up the directory name.)
6. Change the permissions on the folder so that the Coppermine Gallery can use them.
A. Click on the text link of the new album.
B. Click the "Change Permissions" link on the upper right of the screen.
7. On the upper right side of the screen, make sure all of the boxes are checked. Click the "Change" button.
Login to the Coppermine Gallery
1. Proceed to www.domain.com/gallery. Click the Login link.
(Note: replace "domain" with your domain name)
2. Enter your administrator username and password. If you are unsure of this, please contact support at: www.cornerstonewebsites.com/support.
Create a Category
1. Click the "Categories" button
2. Create the category.
A. Enter the title of the category. In this example, we were adding photos for a marching band. The photos are categorized by year and albums will be created throughout this year to fit the appropriate categories. We entered a category of "2009" here.
B. Click the "Upload/Create Category" button.
Create an Album
1. Click the "Albums" button
2. Create the album.
A. Select the category that the album will reside in.
B. Click the "New" button.
C. Enter the name of the album.
D. Click the "Apply Modifications" button.
Batch Add Photos
1. Click the "Batch add files" button
2. Click the "uploads" link.
3. Click the album that was created in the cPanel that all of your recently uploaded files to the server reside in.
