3. Click on the "Create Account" tab at the left side of the page.
4. On the right side of the page, click the "Get Started" tab under the Business heading.
5. For the FREE monthly account, we recommend the "Website Payments Standard" selection from the dropdown box. If future needs require it, the account can be upgraded with ease.
6. Click the "Continue" button.
7. Click the "Go" button on the right side of the screen.
8. Fill out all of the required business information. In addition, make sure that the following items are filled out:
A. Sales Venue(s): Check the "My Own Website" box. Enter the current or future address of your site.
B. Description: Enter a description of your products. If the site is not live yet, mention this here. PayPal reviews all new accounts manually.
C. Customer Service E-Mail: If you do not have a business e-mail yet, enter an address that you will be able to receive PayPal account related e-mails until you have one set up. (NOTE: This can be changed easily in the Account > Profiles after the account is set up.
9. Click "Continue".
10. Fill out all of the required contact information. Be sure to record the e-mail address and password that you enter for "PayPal Account Login".
11. At the bottom of the Business Account Setup page be sure to check the two agreement boxes, enter the characters, then click "Continue".
12. Click the "Go" button on the right side of the page.
13. The following page will appear. You may logout or close your browser at this time.
Confirm E-Mail
1. Check the inbox of your e-mail. A few e-mails will appear from PayPal. Save these for future reference. Open the "Confirm your e-mail address" e-mail. Click the link "Click here to activate your account". Your browser should re-open.
2. Enter your password that recorded previously.
3. Click "Continue".
4. The following page will appear. Click "Continue".
Add a Bank Account
1. Login to your PayPal account and select the "Getting Started" link on the left column of the page.
2. Click "Go" to enter the Bank Account information.
3. Enter your business bank account information so that PayPal can send money to this account when you request it.
4. Click "Continue".
5. The following page will appear. You may log out and close your browser.
Confirming Your Bank Account
NOTE: You will need to check the bank account that you signed up with to verify the two deposits that PayPal sent before completing this step. Typically 3-5 days after initial registration.
1. Login to PayPal and select the "Getting Started" link on the left column of the page.
2. Click "Go" on the right side of the page.
3. Enter the two bank account deposits and click "Submit".
