In most situations, we provide estimates based on the required end product rather than an hourly rate. This is because hourly rates are not beneficial when comparing our services to other website design firms - unless you know exactly how many hours the website will require.
When making comparisons, note that many website designers require a minimum fee for each project. Some are in the thousands of dollars! You can be assured that at Cornerstone, no site is too small and no client will be refused based on a dollar amount.
In most cases, the cost of a custom website will depend more on its function than appearance. It takes the graphic artist about the same amount of time to produce any attractive web design. Creating pages is a small part of the overall site-building process.
The largest part of the cost involves the web developer's coding and database work (if required). Although much of this is invisible, these items are what give the site its functionality. To this end, costs are usually asociated with the number and complexity of site applications.
